Oh Come On!BART is our metro train line that goes from the east bay to SF. And the fuckers are striking. Why? They're butthurt because they have to take a slight pay cut and the big shots don't. THEY MAKE THE MOST MONEY THAN ANY OTHER TRAIN OPERATOR IN THE FUCKIN' US!!!!!!!1111 >_<
They also don't want to pay for their retirment, like everyone else.... -_-;;;;
You'd think the CEO's would be greedy but of no, it's the fucking train operators who have the easiest fucking job in the world. The train basically drives itself, all they do is call out stations and open the doors!
So now I have no way to get to school, I live in Tracy, driving to SF from here is a death sentence. It takes 2.5+ hrs to get over there depending on traffic. And I'll probably be late to ALL of my classes. So thanks BART, instead of replacing your dirty, nasty, ancient, pee-smelling cars with new ones, you go on strike because you're greedy, in a RECESSION at that! Good luck, I hope you get everything you deserve, nothing. /rant

Things like engines and that, GM cant improve on them because it would mean shutting the plant down to retool and then the Union might strike, So they have to keep the same engines that were innovative and awesome 10 years ago in production...Meaning they cant compete
Did you hear about Chrysler sending a letter to their employees at factories in Canada saying very nicely "You take a pay cut, or we wont be in business and you wont have a job" and the workers got -pissed- at them? For what? Telling them the bloody truth
The Unions of everything were great a long time ago, But now they just act like greedy fucks half the time, We lost most of our manufacturing jobs overseas because of unions and environmentalists :/ Why pay someone in America $25 an hour when you can pay someone in China $1.50 to do more work and dont have to worry about any red tape [Oh oh oh! and you know where a lot of the components for the "Eco-friendly" Prius come from for the record? China! :/]

A man wakes up, presses the snooze button on his Chinese alarm clock, gets off of his German bed, and goes to take a shower, dries off with a towel made in Taiwan, proceeds to sit at his dining table and chairs made in Tibet and have cereal, Then he puts on his Italian suit and gets into his Korean car and then goes looking for a job, Unsuccessful he returns home to watch TV on his Japanese TV and bitches that theres no jobs in America and he has no clue why...
Anyways it really sucks to hear that, I doubt they'll hire scabs, and if they do, I'd recommend you not take the job, Some of those Union people get VERY nasty to non-union workers....
